Tandem Leaning: Tandem Stretching & Strengthening
- Read the introduction.
- Lay side by side with your tandem partner, lift your leg that is adjacent to them as they the same, and place your leg up against their leg.
- Use your your leg to lean into them as they do the same.
- Push their leg down toward the ground as they lean into you.
- Keep leaning into them as they take your leg down toward to the ground.
Reciprocal Lean: Isometric, Concentric, and Eccentric Contractions

Your medial hamstring is isometrically contracting as you and your partner lean into each other. |

Your medial hamstring is strengthening as you push their leg down toward the ground. |
| Eccentric |
Your medial hamstring is resistance stretching as they push your leg down toward the ground. |
