Tandem Leaning: Tandem Stretching & Strengthening
- Read the introduction.
- Stand side by side with your tandem partner.
- Lift one of your arms above your head and link hands with each other.
- Use your hands to lean away from them as they lean away from you.
- Pull their hand toward you as they continue to lean away.
- Keep leaning away as they pull your hand away from you.
Reciprocal Lean: Isometric, Concentric, and Eccentric Contractions

Your arm is isometrically contracting as you and your partner lean away from each other. |

Your arm is strengthening as you pull their arm toward you. |
