whole food bars Posted at 2007/03/02 20:34
I recently tried the living fuel super berry cocochia bars - I was anticipating that they would taste ok and I would just eat them anyway for the nutritional value alone - but to my surpise they taste great !

Has anyone tried the coco cassava bars from mercola.com? They seem to be similar to the livingfuel cocochia bars. I may give them a shot too.

I like the Living Fuel bars, but be careful with the green ones as they mold if you don't eat them fast enough!

I have not tried Mercola's Coco Cassava bars, but would be interested in knowing how they work out for you if you ever try them.

My favorite food bars by far are Organic Food Bars. They have multiple varieties, but my favorite is the Protein. It has 24 grams of organic brown rice protein. It tastes so good, it's unbelievable. Also, I usually pack one of the Fiber bars whenever I travel, especially by air. I eat one of the fiber bars and do some Large Intestine stretches whenever I am settled at my new destination to make sure that everything keeps moving.

I'm going to order some of the mercola bars this week - I'll let you know how they are.

Where do you get the organic food bars? I'm definitely looking for a variety of ideas for "fast food" that supports my body and mind.

I would buy them at Whole Foods or my local food co-op. If you have a health food store nearby, you might try asking them if they can special order them for you, or better yet, start carrying them so others can enjoy them as well.

Also, check out www.organicfoodbar.com. They have a link where you can buy them online.

Another one of my favorite fast foods is organic cacao nibs. Just a couple of small handfuls give me a burst of energy that quells my hunger for a while. The bitter taste can take some getting used to, but eventually I begin to look forward to it.

Here are some more of my favorite fast foods, although it's not as portable as a food bar since it is in a rather large jar. Dr. Ben Kim's Greens and Dr. Ben Kim's Vitamin C. Both of these products are wonderful.

You can also sign up for his free email newsletter on the site.

I just received the cocoa cassova bars from mercola.com - they are smaller than the cocochia bars, and not very filling, but they do taste good. They are very chocolatey...which makes me hesitant to eat them on a regular basis.

I found a local store that carries the Organic Food Bars - I'm addicted already!! They are very good.

I also like the bars by Garden of Life - they are very tasty

I'll have to check out Dr Ben Kim's supplements 2
