Luther With Resistance Stretching, most of the stretch occurs during the movement, not at the end point of the stretch. When you strength train a muscle, you start with the muscle elongated, shorten and contract, then repeat. The same applies to Resistance Stretching except you start with the muscle shortenend, elongate and contract, then repeat.
guest Why don't I hold the stretch for at least 30 seconds, as is done in more traditional stretching?
