WORKOUT WARRIOR: Werth uses Meridian Flexibility training, which involves specific rotational resistence, maximal flexibility and strengthening programs for the lower and upper body to remove damaged tissue, increase flexibility and strength, facilitate recovery and upgrade psychological health. Additionally, he utilizes an organic diet that includes organic supplements. The training is not only designed to recover from a specific injury, but to provide an ongoing, comprehensive training regimen.

Zach Thomas question Posted at 2006/08/05 17:31
Is Zach Thomas using the Meridian Flexibility Strength System ?
http://www.wqam.com/index.php?page=65&storyid=1891

(On Zach Thomas) - “I had a few aches and pains last night and I went upstairs to the training room in the hotel to get some ice and I see Zach in there working with the neuromuscular specialist and he’s stretching. I left, went down to get something to eat, came back up there to pick up something and he’s still there stretching. The guy must have stretched for an hour-and-a-half last night. He’s got a hyperbaric chamber at his house. He has a personal chef. He’s lifting. He’s running extra. I’m the kind of guy that likes to do everything right. I don’t ever want anyone coming behind me and having to say, ‘You can do this better.’ Or having to say, ‘You have to do this,’ because I’m a perfectionist. My skin is real thin and I’m a little sensitive. I don’t like people getting on me. Zach, far supersedes anyone’s expectations, not only how he performs on Sunday, but what he does on a daily basis. He is one of my favorite players on the team.”
